Our Story

Every year during the holidays, we found ourselves facing the same overwhelming challenge: trying to keep track of gift ideas for all the important people in our lives. Between family members, friends, coworkers, and neighbors, the list seemed endless.

We noticed a problem that everyone seemed to share. You'd see something perfect for your mom while browsing online, but by the time the holidays rolled around, you'd forgotten about it. Or you'd save it in a random note on your phone, only to lose it in a sea of other reminders. Friends would ask what you wanted, and you'd draw a blank, even though you'd seen dozens of things you'd love just weeks before.

The real frustration came when trying to coordinate with others. Multiple people would ask for your wish list, and you'd end up sending different versions to different people. Someone would buy you something, but you wouldn't know until you opened it, leading to awkward duplicate gifts. There had to be a better way.

That's how WishLister was born. We set out to create a tool that would solve these problems once and for all. A platform where you could:

• Save anything instantly — Paste a link from any website and automatically pull in the product details, price, and image
• Share with anyone — Send your list to friends and family with a simple link, no account required for them
• Keep the surprise — When someone buys something, it disappears from your view but stays visible to gift-givers, so no duplicate gifts
• Organize by occasion — Separate lists for birthdays, holidays, weddings, and more
